Welcome to the pre-k page!  I am the teacher, Miss Lori Schiavone.  This is my seventh year here at Hudson Valley.  There is no greater joy than to teach these children to love learning!  We work on many different skills in pre-k  including, but not limited to, letter and sound recognition, number recognition, fine motor skills, bible, and social skills.

All shades of beauty in front of my face
How blessed that I am to be in this place.
The laughter I hear as they play with each other
The love in their voice as they speak of their mother
The sparkle of joy in each little eye
Crocodile tears that shed when they cry
The innocence I see in each one of them
Is more precious than the most beautiful gem
To be able to watch them learn and grow
Is a joy that most people won’t ever know.
Thank you Lord for placing me here
